buddhi: Blog Content

buddhi’s community platform provides life-changing resources, connection opportunities, and tools to cope with cancer. I got to be a part of telling Thriver Thursday stories through interview summaries, SEO blog posts, the newsletter, and long-form articles.

“I was lucky enough to find Maria after reading House of Wise content (I'm a #WiseWoman) and thinking it was spot-on for our brand voice and style. We're reimagining support for everyone coping with cancer, and it is critical that our content reflects something unique, fresh, and uplifting in our space since most everything else you read is clinical, dark, and depressing. Maria herself is quite the opposite—a breath of fresh air—and has been such a pleasure to work with over the past nine months. She writes content, social copy, and newsletters for our community. buddhi is so lucky to have her talent, and it may sound hyperbolic to say, but Maria's words are truly improving the lives of people coping with cancer.”

Tapping into the taboo

Cancer thrivers don’t get the support they need from medical teams to navigate life after a diagnosis. That’s where buddhi comes in — we created content that asked (and answered) the real questions.

The blog is rich with topics like navigating sex after treatment, feeling like you’re on the struggle bus, and what not to say to someone with a cancer diagnosis.

Founder Kathleen Brown pours her heart into this brand and community, making content enjoyable and fulfilling to write.

Thriver Spotlight

My favorite project for buddhi was the Thriver Spotlight series, which summarized Instagram Live interviews from buddhi’s cancer thrivers. Here’s an example:

Tiffany is a consultant, breast-cancer thriver, and virtual dance-party host extraordinaire. But even with enviable swag, she’s no exception to the hardships that come with a cancer diagnosis and beyond. This is her story.
